RAPID is a manually handled, steel-framed panel formwork system with plywood surfaces. The system’s main frame uses specially shaped S420 MC steel profiles designed by Welser Profil, which offer high torsional strength. The panel surfaces are made of 15 mm birch plywood. Panels are manufactured in widths of 30, 45, 60, 75, and 90 cm, and heights of 90, 120, 150, 270, and 300 cm. Thanks to the perforated profiles—punched every 5 cm—used in RAPID-UNI panels, formwork for walls and columns of any size can be easily assembled. The RAPID formwork system is designed to withstand a fresh concrete pressure of 40 kN/m². Our production processes incorporate robotic cutting, drilling, and welding. Before undergoing the oven-baking process, the panels are sandblasted to remove any chemical oils from their surfaces. Additionally, upon request, our products can be hot-dip galvanized in accordance with TS 914 EN ISO 1461 standards.
